ENG'S TAKOYAKI

The owner,Engr. Ed Louie M. Bienes, started selling Takoyaki balls on the 8th of July 2011 at Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City. The trademark ENG’s Takoyaki was derived from his full name, ENG as its nickname.  ENG’s Takoyaki is engaged in manufacturing, selling and distributing takoyaki balls to franchise and for hotels conducting seminars and workshops. Eng's takoyaki have 3 branches in Cagayan de oro city, located at Carmen Unitop, Dvsoria, Palana grocers in cogon and in Bugo in front at del monte plant.

ENG’s Takoyaki provides a healthy and affordable snack for everyone. Takoyaki means Tako “octopus” and Yaki means “grilled or fried”. Takoyaki is a popular ball-shaped Japanese dumpling or more likely a savory pancake made of batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with diced octopus, but here in the Philippines, we are using squid, which is always available in the market and vegetables. It is topped with special sauce, mayonnaise and beef/fish/pork shavings.

As of this year, ENG’s Takoyaki is still developing and is open for franchising either cart-type or kiosk-type.
